Sophie
has made extensive cabaret and nightclub appearances throughout Canada
and the U.S.. He's made guest appearances at countless benefits in
countless cities including New York, Hartford, San Francisco, Los Angeles,
San Diego, Reno and Vancouver. He was the Grand Marshall of Toronto's
1994 Lesbian & Gay Pride Day Parade. Among his many awards and
distinctions are the Key to the City of San Diego (presented by
Mayor Maureen O'Connor), and The Golden Coathanger Award for Acidic
Commmentary. |

of New York. After touring in many different

Daddy marks his debut in both the film and drag worlds.

Roberto

Before
relocating to Toronto, Roberto had an illustrious life as a drag performer
in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Although he today reserves his masterful drag mostly
for street performance in and around Toronto, he was thrilled to have the
opportunity to participate in Daddy. Since the shoot, Roberto has
shorn those lovely locks (yes - that hair is real!) to raise money for
charity. |

Zen is a fixture in Toronto's female impersonation community. She uses
her talents and her affiliations with various organizations, to raise money
for numerous charitable organizations between Toronto and Buffalo. Alexia
has appeared in various roles, as man and woman, on stage and screen. |

Lite is best known as in-house emcee at Toronto's popular gay bar Woody's.
Like
her fellow drag sisters, she uses her art to raise money and awareness
of various community charities and events. |

Wendy
Wendy
Baker hosts the spoken-word program Other Words on Toronto's CIUT
radio station.
As well, she works in The Canadian Broadcasting Company's
production centre. |

Our erstwhile director wore so many hats during the making of the film he wasn't surprised to find himself playing one of his own characters.

is a former American, now making his home in Toronto. He is a screenwriter,

his knowledge, this is the first film that Rod Heimpel has played in. When
Rod is not being called to auditions at the major studios, he can also
be seen in the role of Assistant Professor of French at the University
of Toronto and Internet consultant, also in Toronto. Rod has also
worked as an editor and published his own fiction, poetry and literary
criticism. |
